Acute Treatment for Migraines

The purpose of this research study is to:

  • Test the effectiveness of rimegepant compared with placebo in the acute treatment of migraine with subjects who:
    • Are 18 to 65 years old
    • Have at least 1 year of migraines before the age of 50
    • Migraine attacks last about 4-72 hours if untreated
    • Have 4-14 migraine days a month
    • Have less than 15 headache days (migraine or non-migraine) per month
    •  Have been unsuccessful with at least 2 triptan medications (for example, triptans did not improved your migraine symptoms, or you had prior intolerance to triptans, or you could, otherwise, not use triptans due to a safety concern)
